KERALA INSTITUTIONAL RANKING FRAMEWORK (KIRF)
The Kerala Institutional Ranking Framework (KIRF) was developed by the Kerala State Higher Education Council to assess and rank higher education institutions within the state. Launched in 2023, KIRF provides a systematic methodology to evaluate institutions based on key performance indicators aligned with the academic and developmental priorities of Kerala.
The framework is designed to promote excellence in higher education by encouraging institutions to enhance the quality of teaching, research, and overall institutional performance. The ranking methodology broadly considers parameters such as “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Innovation,” “Academic Outcomes,” “Inclusivity and Outreach,” and “Institutional Perception.”
St. Dominic’s College, Kanjirapally has been participating in the KIRF rankings since 2024. The college is committed to providing a conducive learning environment for students and to achieving higher standards of academic distinction.
